Marchenko Partners acted for Western NIS Enterprise Fund in connection with financing of Printing House in Kramatorsk. The financing was provided in cooperation with Oschadbank, and this was the first loan granted within the “Affordable Loans for Social Enterprises in Eastern Ukraine” project.
This new project is implemented by the Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) with the support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) within the USAID Economic Resilience Activity (ERA). The project is called to develop the economy and solve urgent social problems in the Eastern Ukraine. It envisages granting loans with the interest rate of 5% per annum, which is one of the lowest rates for Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
Marchenko Partners’ team included Senior Associate Bogdan Burlaka and Associate Oleksandr Poznyakov, led by Partner Roman Shulyar.
“Our cooperation with Western NIS Enterprise Fund has extended to the new support project directed specifically at Eastern Ukraine social enterprises. We are proud to contribute to the project that solves vital problems in the region suffering from the ongoing war conflict. It is definitely a great next step in our cooperation with WNISEF that immensely inspires our team,” Roman Shulyar comments on the project.
